Hand carved wooden sign

Just finished hand carving a wooden sign for my work shop. NOKES WOODWORKS.
The sign is basswood. I used swiss made carving tools and a helive brand knife.
I first laid the letters on the wood using 3 inch letters.
Then lets the chips fly. All hand carved.

Turned salt cellar

Just finish a little turning project.
It is called a salt cellar. The top rotates on a brass pin. You can open the top by sliding it in either direction.
It was finished using watco butcher block finish .... food safe.
We will use it to store salt, just a pinch will do.

Rikon 14" Bandsaw

Just got a new 14" Bandsaw from woodcraft.
Have not really had a chance to use it yet.
Set up was easy.
The only down side is the slot in the table is in the front. Now that I have added a Kreg fence, it will be a pain to change blades.
Other than that, so far I think this going to be a great saw.
